The average full demo cost in Nashville is between $700 and $1200. The cost of a Full Demo at Rad Records is just $400! The reason we can keep our prices so low, is that our engineers can play and record every instrument and sometimes even sing on your demo!
Can I record via e-mail from out of town?
Absolutely yes! Over half of our clients records via e-mail from out of town, out of state, and even out of the country! All you have to do is e-mail us a rough recording of your song (i.e. iPhone voice memo), the lyrics, and key and we'll take care of the rest! We'll even send you rough mixes at various stages of the recording process to ensure everything sounds exactly the way you want!
Do I need to bring an Engineer to my Studio A Session?
At Rad Records, your Engineer is included in our $60/hour rate! Try finding that at another studio! As for a Producer, you are welcome to bring the producer of your choice to Rad Records. Does Rad Records do a daily rate for Studio A?
Rad Records chooses to work on an hourly rate so our clients can use our facilities as little or as much as they want! Instead of being locked into a full day of recording, you can stop the clock whenever you're ready!
How much does it cost to Mix/Master at Rad Records?
Mixing and Mastering is done by Eric Torres and is $150 for a Demo Mix, $200 for a Master Recording.
How many channels can be recorded in Studio A?
Studio A is capable of recording 16 channels at once. 10 channels of Class-A analog gear and 6 channels of top of the line digital gear.
